INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION AT THE CROSSROADS

Rita Páva is an intercultural psychologist who teaches at the Eötvös Loránd University, Institute of Intercultural Psychology and Education, where she is also a PhD student. Between 2005-2010 she spent shorter and longer periods in Germany, where she dealt among others with the integration of migrant children. In 2013 she researched the best practices in Germany in a project on European Integration Modules at the Menedék Association. In 2015 she published a handbook "The basics of intercultural, multicultural education" (in Hungarian) for teachers and students of pedagogy, which was part of a state funded project. Her main fields of research are: gender and career, integration policies, multiculturalism, IAT.
