INTERCULTURAL EDUCATION AT THE CROSSROADS
The Tom Lantos Institute (TLI) offers 10 scholarships for applicants from the CEE and SEE regions, to cover travel and accomodation expenses. For the scholarship holders the International Association for Intercultural Education (IAIE) offers a waiver of the participation fee.
The scholarships aim to encourage and support early career researchers and practitioners (educational practitioners, members of specialised CSOs, staff of specialised public institutions). Academic and professional merit will be the main criteria of selection.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants have to be resident in one of the following countries: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, Ukraine.
The TLI particularly encourages individuals belonging to ethnic, national, linguistic or religious minorities to apply.
